"HOW DO YOU PICK UP THE THREADS OF AN OLD LIFE?
HOW DO YOU GO ON WHEN IN YOUR HEART YOU BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND…
THERE IS NO GOING BACK?"

I can't believe this question is from Lord Of The Rings, but anyway . . .
An easy answer, once you stop looking back and stay focused on what's ahead. Sure the future is unknown -- and we remember we're afraid of the unknown -- but things get exciting when you spend your time and attention on new plans, new people. Looking forward, not backward.
Better threads ahead.

(I love the image you selected. I want that painting.)
